!

Lay-by in store is as easy as:

  1. BROWSE IN-STORE
    Browse our large range of camping and outdoor products in store. When you’ve found what you’re looking for, bring the items up to the counter.
  2. FIND A TEAM MEMBER
    Once you've found all of the items you would like to lay-by, you can find a team member at the counter who will be able to assist you with setting up your lay-by.
  3. CREATE THE LAY-BY
    Once we have your contact details and have collected all of your items together, we can grab a deposit from you and commence the lay-by. Your items will be safely stored in our storeroom until you are ready to finalise the lay-by and pick up the items.
  4. MAKE REGULAR PAYMENTS
    Visit us in store at any time during business hours to make a payment either by card or cash. 
  5. FINALISE YOUR ITEMS 
    Make your final payment and pickup your items (either on the same trip or at a later date). 
Note: For all bulky item orders, please bring a friend.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
To make a lay-by payment or to finalise a lay-by, there are only three items you'll need to bring with you:

  1. Lay-by docket
  2. A valid payment method
  3. A suitable vehicle to fit your new gear in

FAQ'S

  1. Do you offer Lay-by?
    Yes. Lay-by is available in-store on any items.
  2. Do you offer for online purchases?
    Lay-bys are not currently available for online purchases.
  3. How do I setup a Lay-by?
    Once you have chosen the product (or products) you would like to lay-by, you can find a staff member who can set your purchase up as a lay-by and assist you with any questions you may have.
  4. Can I Lay-by items that are on sale?
    Yes, you can lay-by items that are on sale.
    If the item is on sale, you will pay the current sale price on the item at the time.
  5. Can I Lay-by items that are out of stock or a Special Order?
    You can lay-by items that are a Special Order. We will notify you when the item arrives and this doesn't affect the lay-by length.
  6. How do I make payments on my Lay-by?
    Lay-by payments can be made in person any time during business hours. You can make payments via Credit/Debit cards or cash.
  7. What are the terms and conditions associated with my lay-by agreement?
    1. Exclusions: Lay-by is not available for online purchases or services (gas refills, repairs, etc.)
    2. Deposit: At least 10% of the purchase price is required as an initial deposit. You may leave a higher deposit if you wish.
    3. Instalments: Preferably, no longer than 14 days between payments.
    4. Term: Lay-bys must be fully paid and collected within 3 months of the initial lay-by setup.
    5. Multiple Items: If you wish to separate a lay-by of more than one item, please get in touch and we can discuss options.
    6. Change of Details: It is the customer's responsibility to notify the store of any changes to contact details.
    7. Ownership: Ownership of the items will not pass on to the customer until the lay-by has been paid in full.
    8. Cancellation by the Customer: The customer may cancel the lay-by at any time before it is finalised. Cancellation by the customer will incur an administration fee of $5 (Termination Fee) unless the store is in breach of these T&C's or cannot fulfil the lay-by for any reason.
    9. Storage Fees: There are no storage fees for lay-bys, even for bulky items such as kayaks and barbecues!
    10. Termination by the Store: Failure to make an instalment, or make payment in full without adequate notification constitutes a breach of these T&C's by the customer.
      We may give the customer 14 days written notice of the breach either by phone or email. If the customer has not made a further payment or finalised the lay-by within 14 days from the date of the notice, the store may terminate the lay-by. 
      The store may also terminate the lay-by in the unlikely scenario where we are unable to sell the items due to circumstances outside of our control, or where it ceases to engage in trade.
    11. Refunds: If these terms & conditions are terminated or the customer cancels the lay-by, the refund of deposits and payments (minus the Termination Fee) will be made in accordance with applicable law.
      If the customer does not request a refund of any deposit and instalment payments, the store will deal with such moneys in accordance with the applicable laws concerning unclaimed moneys. If monies paid are less than the termination dee, we may recover the balance from the customer.
    12. Privacy: Any personal information you provide will be managed in accordance with our privacy policy.
    13. T&C's: All receipts in relation to this lay-by purchase form part of these T&C's.
